Lowest cost per image in this comparison (Magnific annual plans)
Magnific annual plans are the lowest per-image cost here: Premium+ is about $0.051 per 1K/2K Nano Banana Pro image ($0.041 via the first-year link) and Premium has the lowest upfront commitment at $0.054 ($0.044 via the link), below Google's $0.134 API price and Higgsfield Plus at $0.078.
Magnific
Magnific link: up to 42% off Premium (27.5% annual + extra 20% on your first annual payment)Nano Banana Pro pricing depends on where you run the model. Google charges $0.134 for a 1K or 2K image and $0.24 for a 4K image through its API, sells Gemini plans with no per-image price, and third-party apps such as Higgsfield and Magnific bill it in credits. The same image can cost anywhere from about $0.04 to $0.14 depending on the plan.
The sites that rank for this search mostly sell their own credit packs and say little about Google's price. This guide starts with Google's official numbers (checked October 25, 2026), then converts Higgsfield and Magnific credits into a cost per image so you can compare like with like. It is built from official pricing and help pages and our own arithmetic, not from test generations.
Quick answer: Google's API is $0.134 per 1K/2K image ($0.067 on Batch) and $0.24 per 4K image. The Gemini app has no per-image price: Google AI Plus is $4.99, Pro $19.99 and Ultra from $99.99 a month with usage limits. Inside other apps, Magnific annual plans work out to about $0.04 to $0.05 per 1K/2K image and Higgsfield Plus billed yearly to about $0.08. The cheapest option depends on how many images you make and whether you want video tools in the same subscription.
Nano Banana Pro pricing on Google's official API
Google lists the model on its Gemini API pricing page as Gemini 3 Pro Image (Nano Banana Pro). There is no free tier for it: the page marks the free tier as 'Not available'. These are the paid rates on October 25, 2026.
| Mode | 1K or 2K image | 4K image | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $0.134 | $0.24 | Image output is $120 per 1M tokens; 1,120 tokens for 1K/2K, 2,000 for 4K |
| Batch and Flex | $0.067 | $0.12 | Half of Standard |
| Priority | Image output $216 per 1M tokens | Higher than Standard | Priority input is $3.60 per 1M tokens |
Your prompt is billed on top: text input is $2.00 per 1M tokens, and each reference image you upload counts as 560 tokens, about $0.0011. Grounding with Google Search adds $14 per 1,000 requests after 5,000 free requests a month. For a plain text prompt, the per-image figure is close to the final cost.
Nano Banana Pro cost in the Gemini app
The Gemini app does not publish a per-image price. Google AI Plus costs $4.99 a month, Google AI Pro $19.99, and Google AI Ultra starts at $99.99 (a $199.99 tier gives 20x Pro's limits). Google's help page describes limits as compute-based multipliers: Plus is 2x the standard limit, Pro 4x, and Ultra 5x or 20x of Pro. Limits refresh every 5 hours until a weekly cap, and images use a lot of that allowance.
As of October 25, the help page says the 'Redo images with Nano Banana Pro' option is available on Plus, Pro and Ultra, and free users get Nano Banana 2 instead. Google's earlier launch post said free users got limited Nano Banana Pro quotas before reverting to the original model, and the subscriptions page still lists 'limited access to Nano Banana Pro' in Flow on the free plan. The rules have changed more than once, so check Settings, Usage Limits before relying on a number you read elsewhere.
Nano Banana Pro price in Higgsfield
Higgsfield lists Nano Banana Pro under Image, and its help center says to start at 1K when iterating and go to 2K or native 4K for final assets. Higgsfield's own blog (September 21, 2026) lists Nano Banana Pro at 2 credits per image on credit plans and converts 2 credits to about $0.10 at its reference rate of 20 credits per dollar. At 4K, Higgsfield's blog lists 4 credits (about $0.20), and its pricing page captured in a browser on October 26, 2026 lists Nano Banana Pro 1K/2K at 2 credits per image and 4K at 4 credits per image. Credit costs can change, and Higgsfield shows the exact cost on the Generate button before you confirm.
Plan prices below come from Higgsfield's pricing page, checked on October 26, 2026 and covered in the Higgsfield AI pricing guide: Starter $19 a month (270 credits), Plus $59 monthly or $47 a month billed yearly (1,200 credits), and Ultra 3,000 credits at $129 monthly or $99 billed yearly. A Higgsfield blog post lists older Starter and Plus prices ($15 and $49), which no longer match.
The table gives 1K/2K costs, and the 4K costs follow below it. Higgsfield also sells time-limited unlimited windows for the model: its September 21 blog lists 2K windows from $5 for one day to $23 for seven days, and says a month-long unlimited Nano Banana Pro plan is not offered.
Nano Banana Pro price in Magnific
Magnific (formerly Freepik) lists Nano Banana Pro (1K/2K) at 75 credits per image and 4K at 150 credits per image. Premium includes 240,000 credits a year and Premium+ 600,000, which the page converts to 3,200 and 8,000 images at 1K/2K. Credits last a year with no monthly reset, and prices exclude VAT and local taxes.
One caution: Magnific's comparison table groups Nano Banana Pro (1K/2K) with models labelled 'Unlimited', but the plan cards tag only Nano Banana 2 and Kling 2.5 as unlimited 'All year' on Premium+ and Pro Starter. We could not resolve which plans, if any, run Nano Banana Pro without spending credits. The math below assumes every image spends credits, which is the safe reading.
Nano Banana Pro cost per image compared
This table converts each plan into a cost per 1K/2K image. The math is plan price divided by the images its credits cover, assuming all credits go to Nano Banana Pro. Real bills will be higher if you also spend credits on video or retries.
| Where | Plan and billing | Credits | 1K/2K images per period | Cost per 1K/2K image | Math |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google API | Standard, pay per image | n/a | n/a | $0.134 | Listed price |
| Google API | Batch | n/a | n/a | $0.067 | Listed price |
| Higgsfield | Starter, $19 a month | 270 a month | 135 | $0.141 | $19 / 135 |
| Higgsfield | Plus, $59 monthly billing | 1,200 a month | 600 | $0.098 | $59 / 600 |
| Higgsfield | Plus, $47 a month billed yearly | 1,200 a month | 600 | $0.078 | $47 / 600 |
| Higgsfield | Ultra 3,000, $99 a month billed yearly | 3,000 a month | 1,500 | $0.066 | $99 / 1,500 |
| Magnific | Premium, $20 a month | about 20,000 a month | about 266 | $0.075 | $20 / 266 |
| Magnific | Premium, $174 a year ($14.50 a month) | 240,000 a year | 3,200 | $0.054 | $174 / 3,200 |
| Magnific | Premium+, $405 a year ($33.75 a month) | 600,000 a year | 8,000 | $0.051 | $405 / 8,000 |
| Magnific | Premium via our link, $139.20 a year ($11.60 a month) | 240,000 a year | 3,200 | $0.044 | $139.20 / 3,200 |
| Magnific | Premium+ via our link, $324 a year ($27 a month) | 600,000 a year | 8,000 | $0.041 | $324 / 8,000 |
For 4K, Google charges $0.24 on Standard and $0.12 on Batch. On Magnific, 4K costs 150 credits, so the same plans give $0.109 (Premium annual), $0.101 (Premium+ annual), $0.087 and $0.081 (via our link). On Higgsfield, 4K costs 4 credits, so the same plans give about $0.28 (Starter), $0.197 (Plus monthly), $0.157 (Plus yearly) and $0.132 (Ultra 3,000 billed yearly). The monthly Magnific Premium credit figure divides the 240,000 yearly credits by 12, so check how many credits your monthly plan grants.
What the table does not show
- Magnific annual plans are paid up front ($174, $405, or $139.20 and $324 via our link), so the low per-image cost needs a large yearly commitment.
- Higgsfield credits on annual plans reset every 30 days, so unused credits do not carry over.
- Google's API needs a billing account and code or a tool that calls it. The per-image price is lowest to understand but not the lowest to use.
- Third-party apps can change credit costs at any time. Magnific says so explicitly.
Which Nano Banana Pro option fits you
- A few images a month: use the Gemini app on a free or Plus plan and accept the limits. $4.99 a month is the cheapest paid route Google offers.
- Developers and batch jobs: the API at $0.134, or $0.067 on Batch if results can arrive later. There is no subscription to carry.
- Hundreds of images a month in a web app: Magnific annual plans are the lowest per-image cost in this comparison, at about $0.04 to $0.05 for 1K/2K: Premium+ is lowest per image ($0.051, $0.041 via the link) and Premium has the lowest upfront commitment ($174, $139.20 via the link) at $0.054 ($0.044). They bundle video, audio and upscaling credits, so credits spent elsewhere raise the real cost.
- Images and video from one set of credits: Higgsfield Plus billed yearly ($0.078 per image) fits if you also make short clips. See the Magnific vs Higgsfield comparison for how the two differ beyond price.
For most people generating images every week in an app rather than through code, Magnific annual plans are the lowest per-image cost in this comparison: Premium+ is lowest per image ($0.051, or $0.041 via the link) and Premium has the lowest upfront commitment ($174, or $139.20 via the link) at $0.054 ($0.044 via the link). If video is the main job, Higgsfield Plus is the better fit despite the higher per-image cost.

Both discounts apply to the app plans, not to Google's own pricing. Pick your billing period first, then click.
- Magnific: the link below opens the pricing page with a coupon applied. On October 25, annual Premium and Premium+ showed 'Extra 20% OFF', at $11.60 and $27 a month instead of $14.50 and $33.75. Stacked on the annual saving (27.5% on Premium, 25% on Premium+), that is up to 42% off the monthly Premium price in the first year, or 40% on Premium+. Monthly billing and Pro Starter showed no extra discount, and Magnific says discount codes apply to the first payment only, with renewals at the standard price.
- Higgsfield: logging in through the link below applies up to 50% off for 3 hours from login. The exact percentage is personal and shown after login.

Be careful with sites that sell Nano Banana Pro credits
Several results for this search are standalone credit shops. At least two (nanobanana.io and nano-banana-pro.io) show their own plans, such as $9.90 to $63.90 a month billed yearly or $4.99 to $44.99 a month billed yearly, with credit costs that differ by model. Nothing on those pages says they are run by Google, and neither page states that it is unaffiliated. Their plan terms also differ: on one, unused subscription credits reset at each renewal, and plan changes go through email.
That does not make them unusable, but their prices are not Google's prices. If a page cannot show who operates it and a refund policy in plain terms, compare it against the official figures above first.
