Blotato
Blotato link: 7-day trial with 60 AI creditsBlotato pricing has three plans: Starter at $29 a month, Creator at $97 and Agency at $499, with AI credits of 1,250, 5,000 and 28,000 a month. Blotato is a social media tool that writes, schedules and publishes posts and can also generate AI images and faceless videos, and the credits only pay for those AI images and videos. This guide checked Blotato's official pricing page and billing help on October 25, 2026, then works out what a video costs, how the trial and refund work, and whether the tool holds up in published reviews.
Prices are USD. Plans, trial and refund terms come from blotato.com/pricing. Credit, billing, top-up and platform rules come from help.blotato.com. Reviews are third-party and labeled as such.

Monthly prices, credits and contacts are from blotato.com/pricing. Account limits are from help.blotato.com/settings/social-accounts. The pricing page sells monthly plans only; the yearly figures are Fieldnotes arithmetic from the stated rule of paying for 10 months and getting 12, so confirm the exact charge in the billing portal.
Every paid plan includes the social media API and MCP server, with no separate API tier, plus unlimited AI writing, threads and sources, AI voices and captions, and ElevenLabs voiceovers. Creator adds faster video processing and support for troubleshooting n8n and Make automations. Agency adds dedicated video processing and a dedicated support channel. Blotato states there are no per-post fees and no seat fees. To see the plan cards yourself, Blotato link: 7-day trial with 60 AI credits opens the official site.
What does Blotato do, and which platforms does it post to?
Blotato combines an AI writer, a content remixer, faceless video and image generation, a scheduler and publisher, and an API for tools such as n8n and Make. Its help center lists nine supported platforms: LinkedIn, X, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and TikTok. Facebook support covers Pages rather than personal profiles. Each Facebook Page and each LinkedIn company Page counts as one connected account, so one login with three Pages uses three of your 20 slots on Starter.
The help center also lists limits worth knowing before you pay:
- New accounts must be used manually before connecting: about 4 weeks for TikTok, 2 to 3 weeks for Pinterest, 1 to 2 weeks for the rest.
- On Starter, TikTok posting is limited to 3 distinct accounts per rolling 24 hours. Creator and Agency have no such cap.
- YouTube allows 10 posts per channel per 24 hours on Starter and 25 on Creator and Agency.
- Pinterest requires 100 or more monthly views on the account to unlock posting.
- Instagram needs a Business or Creator account.
Blotato AI credits: what they buy and what they cost
The pricing FAQ says one credit is roughly one image or "a few seconds of generated video". The help center adds that video length has no limit as long as your credits cover it, and that no per-generation usage history is available yet. For a firmer number, aifunnelinsider's evidence review puts a 30-second faceless video at about 52 credits. That is a third-party estimate and the reviewers say they did not buy or use the product, so treat it as a planning figure.
| Plan | Cost per credit | 30-second videos per month at 52 credits | Cost per 30-second video |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $0.0232 ($29 / 1,250) | 24 | about $1.21 |
| Creator | $0.0194 ($97 / 5,000) | 96 | about $1.01 |
| Agency | $0.0178 ($499 / 28,000) | 538 | about $0.93 |
| Credit pack | $0.0060 ($6 / 1,000) | 19 per pack | about $0.31 |
These figures treat the whole plan price as the cost of credits, which overstates it because the plan also covers scheduling, writing and the API. They still show the shape of the pricing. A daily video creator on Starter runs out in the third week (24 videos against 30 days), which aifunnelinsider calls the reason daily video posters realistically need Creator.
Top-up packs change the Starter versus Creator decision
Blotato's billing page says credit packs cost $6.00 for 1,000 credits and purchased credits roll over. That is about a quarter of the per-credit price inside Starter. For 100 thirty-second videos a month (about 5,200 credits at the 52-credit estimate), Starter plus four packs comes to $29 plus $24, or $53, against $97 for Creator. Creator still adds 40 accounts instead of 20, faster video processing, no TikTok account cap and higher YouTube limits, so the right choice depends on whether you need those. The billing page does not restrict packs by plan, but confirm that in your account.
Blotato free trial and the API key trap
Every plan starts with a 7-day trial that includes all features except the API and MCP server, plus 60 AI credits. A card is required but nothing is charged during the trial, and Blotato emails before it ends. Blotato's own help page warns of one trap: generating an API key ends the trial immediately and starts the paid subscription, even if trial days remain. A confirmation popup appears first. n8n and Make connections also need an API key, so testing them means paying. If the billing portal shows no active subscription, you are still on the free trial.
Blotato refund policy and cancellation
The pricing page says: "If something genuinely doesn't work, email support@blotato.com within 14 days and we'll make it right." The help center describes the flow: open the support chat, choose Billing and then the refund option, with refunds returned to the original payment method in 5 to 10 business days. It also says credits do not roll over if you refunded the payment.
Cancellation has no long-term commitment and goes through the billing portal. If you cancel at period end, access and credits last until that date, and "credits expire when access expires". Credits roll over from month to month while you stay subscribed. Promo codes work only at a first-time checkout and not on existing subscriptions, and the pricing page says codes exist only during limited promotions. No reader discount applies to this guide.
Blotato review: what the sources say
Fieldnotes did not use Blotato for this guide. This section summarizes published sources, and the reviews are partly affiliate-funded, so weigh them accordingly.
- Ratings: Trustpilot showed 4.8 out of 5 from 383 reviews on October 25, 2026, with 90% five-star and 4% one-star. Trustpilot itself notes that the company has not recently invited reviews, pays for a subscription and replies to few negative reviews, and many glowing reviews come from accounts with one review. Blotato's pricing page also cites 4.6 out of 5 on G2. Praise centers on ease of use, all-in-one publishing and the n8n nodes; complaints mention glitches, login problems and one case of a hard cancellation.
- Strengths: aifunnelinsider (updated October 19, 2026) credits the eight tools in one plan, bundled ElevenLabs voices and native n8n and Make nodes, and scores it 4.2 out of 5.
- Weaknesses: the same review says Starter credits drain quickly for video, the API cannot be tested before paying, and support response times still draw complaints. It also notes that Blotato does not clip long videos, make AI UGC ads or write SEO blog content.
- Who it suits: creators and small teams that want writing, scheduling and AI faceless video in one subscription. It is a poor fit if you only need a basic scheduler, or if your main job is cutting clips from long recordings.
Blotato alternatives and how the price compares
Same-category tools are social media schedulers and posting tools. Buffer's pricing page lists a free plan with 3 channels and 10 scheduled posts per channel, and Essentials at $5 per channel per month on annual billing, with a 14-day trial. At 10 channels that is about $50 a month on Buffer's annual price, against $29 for Blotato Starter, which allows 20 accounts. The two are not identical: Blotato adds credit-based AI image and video generation and an API, while Buffer's published plans center on scheduling and an AI assistant. If scheduling is all you need, Buffer's free plan or Metricool are worth pricing out.

Which Blotato plan should you pick?
- Posting a few times a week with occasional AI images or short videos: Starter at $29.
- About one AI video a day, or more than 20 accounts: Creator at $97, or Starter plus credit packs if you do not need the extra accounts and faster processing.
- Agencies running many brands: Agency at $499, or ask support about custom plans above 100 accounts.
For most solo creators, Starter with a 7-day trial is the sensible first step: it is the cheapest paid plan and the trial lets you judge the writing and scheduling before you spend. Do not generate an API key during the trial unless you are ready to pay. Start from the Blotato link: 7-day trial with 60 AI credits.

For scheduling only, Buffer and Metricool. For clipping long videos, a clipping tool such as OpusClip does a different job. Compare tools that match the task you actually need.
